Manuna was a great challenge of a book cover. It was first published in Russia as a children’s book but it was decided that the target audience will be different this time. Using an image of a rich and a bright tapestry I was hoping to allure to the playful nature of the text and the pastoral, older days that it is taking its readers to.
I edited the embroidery to make space for the title and to create the middle focal point. I hope that you like the cover it as much as the readers have. The book is a bestseller now and the other two of the series have have been published with my cover designs.
